Motion, measured

Ship motion that
feels the same everywhere.

Cadence turns your product’s timing into a system — one clock, one set of curves, every surface in step.

What you get

One clock. Every surface.

Three primitives, and the discipline to use only those three.

01

Curves

Seven canonical eases, fitted from real motion instead of guessed. Export as cubic-bezier, a Framer array, or a GSAP CustomEase.

02

Beats

A single measured tempo underneath every transition, so a menu and a modal never disagree about how long a moment lasts.

03

Stagger

Sequence derived from the content, not typed by hand. Change the grid and the rhythm follows without a rewrite.

Questions

The parts people ask about.

Does this replace my animation library?+

No. Cadence produces the numbers; your library plays them. It emits a curve and a duration, and GSAP, CSS or Framer does the rest.

What about scroll-driven motion?+

Scroll has no clock. Cadence reports ratios — how far one layer travels per pixel of scroll — and refuses to pretend those are seconds.

Where does it get the timing?+

From the pixels. A dense motion-energy curve gives duration, beat boundaries and the easing shape; the rest is read off a handful of frames.
